Is it true that in 2016 we'll be so deep in debt we'll have to work with a third of our pay?

I wanna know, because I know I heard this somewhere and it may be true. We are already around 13 trillion dollars in debt, so I don't know for sure if this is true or merely a scare to kindle a deep nefarious paranoia. Please, and I want authentic information not some fabricated illigitamate information off the top of someone's cranium.
