What is the difference between Lutherans and Baptists?

i'd say a huge portion of lutherans don't know the Lord. i was raised in lutheran church until i was 14 and read the Bible for myself. after that, i showed my mom from the Bible why her church was false and why i no longer wanted to go there. she was very accepting of it. so if a dead church is what you're looking for, lutheran is the way to go. not saying there might not be some good lutheran churches out there--maybe there are.
