Last few weeks of pregnancy... hot flashes and feeling like the Flu. What's going on???

I'm 37w4d and I have been feeling under the weather for about a week... really tired, sleeping a lot and I feel sick but w/o coughing/runny nose or vomiting. These past two weeks I've been getting hot flashes. My face gets really hot and even blotchy. I haven't been getting any extra contractions or anything. No mucous plug or blood. I heard someone say that hot flashes are a sign of impending labor (within 1-2 weeks). Anyone heard this? Anyone ever felt or still feel like me? Anything happen? Help me!!! I feel like crap!!!
