Room color coordination?

my mom told me i could paint my room and pick the color, but im not sure what colors to do. my bedspreads/sheets/pillowcases are red tourquise and white and my furniture is mostly light oak or white. and i have a tourquise beanbag chair and white carpeting. i was thinking maybe honeydew walls with a very pale yellow ceiling or a lavender cieling, and my closet rose with light green on top. what do you think? what i'm really looking for is the colors that would go best in my room based on the furniture and stuff. i also have a lot of paintings on my wall that i made and was wondereing if i should take them down for a less cluttered look or keep them up for a more familiar cozy feel? sorry its so long and thank you! oh and im thirteen and i like pastels
