Are you in favor of the constituent embly as a way of amending the Philippine constitution?

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's allies in the House of Representatives have voted to approve Resolution 1109, which calls on "members of Congress" to convene as a "constituent embly" (or Con-***) to propose amendments to the Constitution. Opposing lawmakers however are saying that this move would allow Pres. Arroyo to stay in power beyond 2010, that now is not the time to amend the Constitution, and that the best way to do it is by constitutional convention, and not con-***.
