Is a filipino and pakistani couple a rare couple in this world????

im filipino and my bf is pakistani. we were juz laughing at the fact that there is actually a rare amount of couples who are like us (a filipino and pakistani couple). because my bf said that most pakistani guys go out w/ girls who are the same race and religion as them. and as a filipino, most filipinos would go out w/ a fellow filipino, a mexican, white or black. we even laughed at the fact that our kids would be half filipino and half pakistanis and his mom said that you dnt find that kind of mix juz anywhere. and most people say that we wouldnt last long because we have different religion, culture and beliefs. they say that me and my bf would have a hard time staying together. whats ur opinion?
