Why do all us Brits love Santino Marella and the yanks hate him?

Santino in my opinion is a legend. I was at the Sheffield Arena event on the tour and he was one of the wrestlers i was dying to see. I just love the way he plays the role. I think us Brits see that he's just playing a role and he does a very good job at it, so we appreciate the humour, whereas the yanks take it all too seriously. What do you think?
